Quality Metrics
ACM Transactions on Information Systems (TOIS) publishes only the highest quality papers about the design and evaluation of computer software that helps people find, organize, analyze, and use information in a variety of media. No single metric indicates how well the journal meets this goal, so we provide a set of metrics.
Acceptance Rate
The acceptance rate during the last 12 months was 28% (Dec 2007-2008).
The acceptance rate includes only papers that are submitted via Manuscript Central. Papers that are submitted informally and rejected as out-of-scope or not appropriate for the journal are not included. If they were included, the acceptance rate would be about 10% lower.
